1971 Volkswagen Bay Window Deluxe Red Bus
Here is a local Bus that we found and thought was a really solid Bus. The plan was to block sand it out and lay down a new paint job. After sanding the Bus down we found a lot of rust that we had to take care of…it quickly turned into a complete restoration.
1964 Volkswagen 13 Window Deluxe Microbus
Great client of ours had this 1965 13 Window Deluxe with nose damage and rust problems. We tackled the rust and nose damage then did the bodywork and paint for him. He wanted to assemble the Bus so we sent it off to him to finish it up. Hope to see the finished bus driving on the road soon.
1966 Volkswagen 21 Window Deluxe Microbus “Montana”
We found this Bus in Montana and shipped it over to us. We were told that another shop had done metal work on it and it was ready to block out and paint. When we got the Bus, there were so many things wrong that we decided to blast it again and see what needed to be done. Boy were we surprised!! There was a rough attempt to fix the rust and damage on the Bus, so we went to work and did what we always do, replace everything that needs to be replaced. This Bus was a treat for us as we have been getting some real challenges through our shop.
1966 Volkswagen 21 Window Deluxe Microbus “Minnesota”
This 1966 21 Window had a rough life. With the Bus being for Minnesota it had more rot than normal. After getting it sandblasted and going over the Bus we decided a new frame from a donor Bus was in order. So that is what we did. It was a fun project to tackle and we are happy that we were able to save another Samba Bus. Our customer will be taking over and performing the body work, paint, and assembly.
1957 Volkswagen Original Paint Volkswagen Transporter Bus Survivor
In May of 2015, we found out about a rare 1957 Volkswagen Transporter Bus in Alaska. What intrigued us enough to go all the way to Alaska for this project was that it still had its original paint, which is a big deal to many vintage automobile enthusiasts.
1963 Volkswagen 23 Window Deluxe Bus
Here is a 1963 VW 23 Window Deluxe. This one is really rusty but nothing we can’t fix. Time to get to work and bring this Samba back to life for our customer.
