Current Projects

Here are our projects that we are currently working on. We take pride in every step of the restoration if it is metal rust repair, body, and paint, or assembly. Every staff member shares the same passion and high expectation as the name Silver Lining Auto Restoration.

This bus just arrived at our shop. It is from a new customer who had it at another shop and had a bad experience. It is stories you hear all the time. Client takes it to a restoration shop, the vehicle never gets worked on, and they ask for money. After two years you finally decide your DONE and you pull the project! I feel really bad for the clients when I hear these stories. Look forward to turning the experience from terrible to excellent.

A nice Westfalia subhatch bus that has seen to many bad restorations. With rust everywhere we will do the rust repair the right way.

We are excited to start on this project. With is being a 1956 it was made in the Wolfsburg location. We love pressbumper buses. We will be doing a turnkey restoration.

Just in is a 1960 Double Cab pickup. Customer did most of the metal work and wants us to finish up the rear bed area then contiune into body work and paint.

This bus is from a customer in Washington. We can wait to start on it for him.

We hope to start soon on the restoring this 65 EZ camper bus for our client.

Customer is wanting a custom build on the VW 65 DC and we can't wait to deliver. With plans of ragtop, airride, and big motor will highlight a few of the things that we will be doing to the bus.

Here is a 1964 Vokswagen 21 WIndow Deluxe samba microbus that we will be doing a turnkey restorations on.

We will be doing a Survivor Restoration on this beautiful original paint 23 window Microbus Samba. Can't wait to see how this project finishes out. It is going to be a really nice patina bus. Customer wants all the rust repaired then paint blended out to the OG paint.

This bus came from a couple in Montana who dearly loved the bus. They were very sad to see it go but it was the right decision for the bus was only rotting into the ground and we are bring the bus back to it's prevous glory. Once we did all the metal work and it was ready for the bodywork and paint a client was interested and purchased the double cab and is having us finish the restoration.
