SURVIVOR RESTORATION Volkswagen 21 Window Deluxe Bus

After sitting in our client’s barn for 30+ years, this Deluxe Bus is a true time capsule. We got the call to perform a survivor restoration and came out great. We can’t wait until our client gets it on the road completely reassembled.

1963 Volkswagen 15 Window Deluxe Walk-Thru

This Deluxe really turned out beautiful. We added a slightly customized suspension and upgraded to disc brakes behind the stock 15″ rims with white wall tires. We also completely sound deadened the interior with Dynomat which really cuts down on the noise from the upgraded motor when powering up steep hills.

1961 VW 23 Window Deluxe Microbus

What you are looking at is an original 23 Window Microbus that had been sitting in a Washington forest for many many years just rotting away. We are happy that we were the ones to accept the challenge of getting this 23 Window back on the road and save it from being parted out. Yes, this Bus needed hundreds of hours in metal work but Silver Lining did it.

1959 Volkswagen 23 Window Deluxe Microbus “Survivor Resto”

We will be performing a Survivor Restoration on this beautiful original paint 23 Window Samba Bus. We can’t wait to see how this project finishes out. It is going to be a really nice patina bus. Our customer wants all the rust repaired then paint blended out to the OG paint.

1965 Volkswagen 11 Window Bus

A very solid 1965 VW Kombi that will be receiving a full turnkey restoration. Our customer is going to be doing a custom color combination, we are excited to see this Bus come back to life.

1966 Volkswagen 21 Window Deluxe Microbus

1966 21 Window Deluxe getting a new fresh start. We could not believe how rust free this Bus was. Yes, we had to do a few spot repairs here and there but it’s just amazing how dry this Bus is.

1959 Volkswagen 23 Window Deluxe Microbus

We found this Bus in our own neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. This one was a battle to locate the owner, but we ended up getting the Bus. After pulling it out of a forest, we brought the Bus home and gave it a really good bath that was 30 years over due. Once that task was completed, a great client of ours purchased it from us to perform a full turnkey restoration.

1963 Volkswagen 15 Window Deluxe Microbus

This beautiful 1963 15 Window Deluxe came from Arizona. Due to the dry climate the Bus was in great shape to start with. Our customer purchased the Bus from us once all the metal work was finished, we then continued with a turnkey restoration.

We were told that this Bus was added to the famous and funny Gabriel Iglesias “Fluffy” collection. We hope he enjoys this Bus.

1967 VW Westy Poptop Camper

We performed a Gold Package restoration for our client on their Camper Bus. The entire restoration took 3 months from the day it arrived until it was driving out of the shop. What a great build!!!
